So my truck had a hiccup today and my insurance company assigned Mal's. Uhm it was super muggy and darned near meltdown degrees today. The confirmation text said the driver would arrive within 60 minutes. Well 54 minutes later, Kyle arrives. Too cute with his safety uniform on. He had the nicest personality and soo personable. He explained everything step by step and had the truck up on the flatbed, lickety split. We had a really pleasant conversation on the way.. Just based on this experience, I would recommend Mal's without reserve. Oh did I mention this was the CLEANEST tow truck I have ever seen, in my life. Good luck with your baby to come... I would like to thank Mal’s Auto & Truck Repair for being an honest business. My family members were travelling through Connecticut heading to a funeral down south. My car broke down late night on 95 close to Old Saybrook. We called AAA and they named Mal’s an approved auto repair center. Peter, the tow truck operator met us. He knew we needed a hotel so he dropped us of at one close by to Mal’s. That was really cool of him to do that. Next morning I spoke with Ed the owner and explained our situation with the funeral. He assured us he would have the repair done before noon, which he did, thank goodness. After that call we walked to the shop. We went into to the waiting area and the office manager, Amanda was incredibly hospitable and pleasant. She is also and honest woman too. We witnessed another customer overpay her for repair services. She had Harry her assistant run out and bring the customer back into the shop to give him his overage back. Amanda then offered us refreshments. Harry then asked if we needed a ride back to the hotel to get our bags realizing that it was almost check out time. We said absolutely and went and got our stuff. By the time we got back to Mal’s, my car was done. The service tech Mike met with me after a test drive and gave me detailed information on what was done to the car. The final price was extremely fair, if this was a shady establishment they probably would have charged double for service and taken advantage of our predicament. Mal’s is definitely not that type of business. I was very pleased with these guys, It was one of the best experiences I have ever had with any auto repair shop. These guys are definitely the best shop in Connecticut. It’s worth towing your vehicle the extra mile to get awesome service….Good Job!!!!

I was in town for a girls weekend and came out to my car in am to find a flat tire! Mal's arrived in minutes and got the spare on in no time, then offered to repair tire and put back on even though the shop is closed on Sunday. Now I can drive safely home to New Jersey with no worries. Thank you Mal's for fast and friendly service!!!!

I got into a crazy car wreck yesterday, and Mals showed up to tow me. Normally I am very wiery of tow yards because of all the nonsense and fees that you sometimes deal with. After the near death experiance of the crash, and the chaos that insues Miguel the driver was super helpful. He was super professional and made everything so much easier. We drove 70 miles back to where I live with my car and he was a cool guy to talk to for the ride. The shop was super clean/organized/profession. Getting a tow isn't always a great thing but was the best experiance so far.

My water pump failed on I-95 in Old Saybrook and I was towed by and serviced by Mal's. They made a very stressful situation tolerable with their prompt service. They dropped me off at a local motel and were quick to service and diagnose my car. Both the repair tech and the tow driver were kind and understanding. After the tow back to my mechanic in NJ, they dropped me off at my house. Great people and a great company.

My car was dead as dead can be... Tim the service guy comes to my house and helps diagnose the issue (dead battery) and shows me how to remove the battery because BMW makes everything difficult. He leaves and I go to buy a new battery and when I return the trunk as closed..OMG no way to get in the trunk(which is where BMW stashes the battery).. I called Mal's and asked if Tim could come back and he does then he stays and helps me get back into the trunk and makes sure the car is ok before running off to the next job. I cant say enough about the GREAT SERVICE we received and how respectful and kind "Tim the road side guy" was to my wife and I. I owe that man a cold one.
